The CPDM presidential campaign has gone grassroots in Mezam Division, with simultaneous launches on Sunday, September 28, across all seven subdivisions — Tubah, Bali, Bafut, Santa, Bamenda I, II, and III — less than 24 hours after the regional rally at Congress Hall, Bamenda.

Led by Minister Felix Mbayu, the Mezam Divisional Campaign Committee underscored the party’s determination to move beyond symbolic rallies and mobilise militants at the community level. Despite security challenges, large turnouts were recorded as militants and sympathisers pledged overwhelming support for President Paul Biya.
Speakers highlighted transformative projects such as the Bamenda gas plant, the referral hospital, the Bamenda–Babadjou road, and the University of Bamenda, while also noting the appointments of Mezam elites to key national positions as proof of presidential trust.
At Up Station, Minister Mbayu distributed farm inputs to militants, stressing that President Biya is not a man of empty promises but a leader who delivers.
