CPDM Momo Division Launches Presidential Campaign with Massive Rallies

The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) in Momo Division has officially launched campaigns for the October 12 presidential election, under the supervision of the President of the Divisional Campaign Committee, H.E. Justice Mbah Acha Rose Fomundam, in line with the national guidelines and strategy defined by the Party hierarchy.

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Mbengwi hosted a massive rally to launch the CPDM Presidential Campaign for Momo I Section. Despite heavy downpours, militants and sympathisers turned out in large numbers to show their support for the CPDM candidate, H.E. Paul Biya.
The rally was presided over by Asongwed Emmanuel Anyang. At the rally, compelling reasons were given why Momo I (Mbengwi) should deliver a 100% victory to President Biya.

In Momo IV Section (Ngie), the campaign took off in style at the Andek Council Hall. The event was presided over by Ujambeng Stephen Andong, flanked by Hon. Awutah Philip and Mayor Ubangoh Helly. Before addressing militants, the campaign delegation took time to visit ongoing major investment projects in the subdivision, a testimony of President Paul Biya’s commitment to development in even the most remote corners of the country.

All Communal Campaign Committees have effectively launched campaigns in all five subdivisions of Momo Division:

Momo I (Mbengwi): Led by Asongwed Emmanuel Anyang, Momo Divisional Chargés de Mission.

Momo II (Batibo): Headed by Hon. Anyere Charles Akah.

Momo III (Njikwa): Led by Engoh Ringo Akrobo.

Momo IV (Ngie): With Ujambeng Stephen Andong as President.

Momo V (Widikum): Headed by Akwa Stephen Tambu.

Each rally was marked by strong mobilisation, unity of purpose, and a resounding commitment to deliver overwhelming votes to the CPDM candidate.
With the campaign successfully launched across the division, the CPDM in Momo is now shifting into the next gear: widespread door-to-door mobilisation. Militants and sympathisers have been tasked to carry the party’s message to every household, ensuring that the vision and achievements of H.E. Paul Biya are fully explained to the population ahead of polling day.
